The ATEN VE883K1 is a 4K HDMI extender kit (transmitter and receiver) that sends HDMI video, audio, USB and control signals up to 300 m over multimode fibre – for screens and video walls far from the source. (For up to 10 km over single-mode fibre, ATEN makes the VE883K2.)

Does this kit reach 10 km?
No. The K1 kit is for up to 300 m on multimode fibre. The 10 km version (VE883K2) uses single-mode fibre – ask us for it.
