Is the price final? Do you add VAT?

Yes, the price you see is the full price. SA Business Distribution is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added at checkout. Because we are not a VAT vendor we cannot issue a VAT tax invoice, so a VAT-registered business cannot claim input VAT on our invoice – but you also never pay VAT to us.

Can I get an invoice in my company name?

Yes. Enter your company name in the Company field at checkout and it appears on your order confirmation and invoice. For a quote first, email the part numbers and quantities to sales@sbdistribution.co.za.

How long does delivery take?

Items in stock are delivered in 3-5 working days, depending on your region. Items marked “Ordered in” take 5-10 working days. We are not a same-day or next-day store – the courier time is how we keep prices low. Delivery is free in Cape Town on orders over R2 500 and courier price shown at checkout. How can I pay?

Card (Visa and Mastercard, with 3D Secure), Payflex (4 interest-free instalments over 6 weeks) and EFT. EFT orders ship once the payment clears. The options for your order are shown at checkout. We will never change our bank details by email or WhatsApp – if anyone asks you to pay into a different account, phone us on 065 110 9824 first.

Is everything new and under warranty?

Everything is new and sealed unless the title says ex-demo or open box. Every product carries the 6-month warranty of quality under the Consumer Protection Act, and most also carry the maker’s warranty, usually 12 months or longer. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will handle the claim with you.

Can I return something?

Online orders have a 7-day cooling-off period. See Returns and refunds for how it works.

I install networks or CCTV – can I get a quote for a bigger order?

Yes. Email the part numbers, quantities and your delivery town to sales@sbdistribution.co.za or phone 065 110 9824. Prices on the site are already the same for everyone, and we can often source parts we do not list.

Is it really cheaper than the big online stores?

We check our prices against other South African online stores regularly. Products marked “Price-checked” were cheaper here at the last check. Seen it cheaper somewhere else? Send us the link.
